New Rape Care Advocate Trainings at the Hudson County Rape Crisis Center!
This five (5) week training is for those interested in becoming Rape Care Advocates for the Hudson County Rape Crisis Center. Some of the topics included in the 40 hour training series are the Basics of Sexual Assault, Child Abuse, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, and How to Counsel Victims. Completion of your hours certifies you as a Rape Care Advocate for Hudson County. This group meets over the course of five Saturdays from 10 am to 6 pm at the Christ Hospital School of Nursing's Student Lounge (169 Palisade Ave. Jersey City, NJ 07306). Please note that the sessions vary per training season, so please check back, or inquire about the upcoming training session!
